Brooke & Joe

Take us to your special location. The location you call your own. When there is something you love about it… chances are we’ll love it too. Brooke & Joe invited us to Joe’s parent’s land in Loyal, WI and boy oh boy is it gorgeous! From their beautiful open forest with the soft greenery all around to the open field with tall grasses and the old blue building; add to that an amazing couple… we were in heaven!

We love that these two have a special spot in their hearts for this chunk of land and decided to share it with us!  :)

Ashley & Aaron

It’s so exciting to photograph couples that love each other deeply and laugh together often.  Ashley & Aaron are just that couple. You can see just how much they care for one another yet at the next turn they will be giggling up a storm without much of a reason. Love it! So excited to be a part of their wedding day this year!

The love of wine, sweets and local businesses…

Wine & Dessert… need we say more? Our local bakery, The Main Grain, hosted a delightful event with some of their sweet treats and wine to compliment their morsels of goodness. Mmmmm… could have done this all day and they have such a cute little shop to enjoy it all in too! Now go on and get yourself an eyeful of their beautiful creations then jump in that car of yours and pay them a visit!

Keena & Max

Keena & Max have got that little something called the love bug... We always get excited when couples bring us to their own special places. Keena & Max took us to his parents' farm, which was filled with rustic beauty and character.

It's always sweet seeing couples get slightly shy in front of the camera. We enjoy watching them unfold throughout their session together.
We simply cannot wait to be a part of such a big moment in their lives!

Kari & Eric

It seems only right that we share Kari & Eric’s engagement photos because they are getting married THIS WEEKEND! Also to remind us that Wisconsin really can be beautiful, green and warm : ) I adore this couple and how they get a little nervous and giddy in front of the camera. It makes for adorable, goofy moments.

Cannot wait for Saturday! It may not be green outside… OR warm but I know it is going to be beautiful!

2012 | A Year in Review

What a splendid year 2012 has proven to be! To say we are blessed doesn’t even to begin to sum it up. We started Cj PHOTOGRAPHY nearly four years ago and have shared so many remarkable memories and moments with people from all over Wisconsin. Just in 2012 alone we have so many memories to cherish and so many wonderful people to thank for their trust in us! We’ve made friends along the way, captured memories in the moment, shared countless laughs, seen people get engaged, married, start families and begin their next journey in life. This rewarding year we captured 22 remarkable weddings, dozens of engagement sessions, oodles of beautiful maternity, newborn to one year, family and senior sessions.

We’ve even captured the little moments and details that so often go unnoticed including a bride opening a gift from a soon to be husband that he so tenderly wrapped in notebook paper and staples, to dads tearing up as they got to see their beautiful daughters for the first time on their big day, to kids sticking their tongues out at us during family pictures when mom and dad weren’t looking, to a couple who shared laughs with their congregation as they tried with all their might to light their unity candle. We have even shared those tender moments when proud grandparents and parents shed tears of joy as they hugged and kissed the newlyweds.

Because of our astounding 2012 clients and their families and friends, we will always remember to: share our Cheetos, run like the wind when faced with a swarm of bees, show off our dance moves whenever possible, and cherish every little moment we have with those that are near and dear to our hearts.

We cannot WAIT to see what 2013 brings! Enjoy some of our favorite moments and little details from each of our sessions this past year! J Words cannot express how much we love our job!

Now onto the pictures! Enjoy, as there are a lot of them!
