It is with tons of love that we share these images of our friends, Kelsey & Josh. They are getting married! And just like their wedding plans, they wanted their engagement photos to be personal to them. We started off in their cute new home where the smell of coffee and two sweet kitties greeted us. They cozied up in their living room and kitchen and we captured the sweetness they shared - kitty snuggles, kisses and yummy coffee ensue.
Jace | Newborn
A few weeks after Nicole & Josh's maternity session we headed back to their home to meet baby Jace. Again we nixed all the big lights and backdrops that we usually carry with us and focused on the three of them enjoying each other in their own home; there's something about photographing our clients within their own surroundings that feels so right. Speaking of feeling right... Nicole & Josh being parents for the first time! These two are naturals! 11 days and Nicole & Josh already had Jace figured out; when he need to be fed or changed, and most importantly how to snuggle with him juuuuust right.
Nicole & Josh's Baby Bump
Baby Jace has arrived and we can officially share Nicole & Josh's Lifestyle Maternity Session! (not everyone knew baby's name before ;) ) We are so lucky to get to share so many memories with Nicole & Josh! We had a wonderful snowy engagement session with them two years back. Snow was up to our knees and beyond! We had a fabulous time photographing their December wedding in 2012 complete with pine cones, evergreen and repurposed wood. Now we get to witness them become mommy and daddy!
Nicole & Josh opened their home for us to capture them in their own space without all the oodles of backdrops and studio lighting. This was such a wonderful way to photograph their baby bump! We enjoyed sharing their home with them and capturing their nursery that is oh so sweet. At the end of their session we braved the cold and got more snowy images of these two lovebirds.
Oh... did we mention we get to meet their bundle of joy this weekend?! Eeeee love squishy babies!
Move over Taylor Swift!
This country gal will never ever, ever stop chasing her dreams! All suited up in cowboy boots and a sweet dress Miss Brianna showcased her unique, fun and slightly shy personality throughout her senior portrait session. Brianna’s love for the outdoors was matched by a gorgeous summer sunny day. From wildflower filled fields to abandoned train tracks, and even a visit to her kind spirited animals. We really enjoyed Brianna’s kind smile and easygoing attitude. Our favorite little stop along the way was to meet her steer Curly! I mean how awesome is that, not everyday you see a tiny girl want to hug such a big animal.
We see a fantastic future for this bright young woman and hope that all her dreams come true. Thanks again Brianna for choosing us to have so much darn fun with your photo shoot!
