We have been lucky enough to photograph 3 sister’s weddings over the past couple of years. Heather & Derek were the first one’s to be married in 2011, then Lindsay & Ted in 2013 and now last, but most certainly not least, Ashley & Joe. It has been a complete pleasure working with these girls and their significant others. Words cannot express what an amazing feeling it has been to be trusted with capturing their most precious memories. Ashley & Joe had a warm cloudy day. But those clouds didn’t cast any shadows on the mood that morning. Ashley readied herself for her wedding day in the comfort of her childhood home but waited to put on her final touches at her family church across the street with the assistance of her sweet mother and sisters. Joe put on his finishing touches just a couple rooms away. (side note - all the guys BOUGHT their suits - they look pretty dapper if I might say so myself. What a cool idea to have guys put money towards a tailored suit that they get to keep rather than rent)
Their service was officiated by the church’s retired pastor who has been there for Ashley’s family during so many important moments in the past. Filled with many friends and family, the ceremony was beautiful.
Ashley had a few quiet spots picked out nearby for their portraits that were simply perfect. We love that we got natural greenery and industrial backgrounds.
These two… have been together for years and have already shared so many memories. It is my hope for them that the best is yet to come. Congratulations!
