Tamara & Curtis

On this August day, it was warm but gloomy, with the threat of rain looming overhead all morning. Tamara & Curt had hoped to be married lakeside but ended up utilizing their backup plan. Thankfully though, the skies opened up during their vows, so we were able to head outdoors for some more pictures afterwords.

With love you learn though, that the location where you say your vows isn't what's most important, instead it's the words and the promise you give to each other that is. That's what makes your wedding day so beautiful and important.

Wedding days aren't perfect, and we don't believe they are meant to be. Watching a couple navigate their way through the little bumps on their wedding day gives us a glimpse at how they will navigate their new life together, as a pair, working together to solve life's problems.

Tamara & Curtis, you two handled the weather on your day with such grace and you remembered who you would be seeing in the isle and nothing else mattered. You two are an amazing couple, surrounded by some pretty terrific people who clearly know how to party!

Cheers to the imperfections that make our lives so beautiful!
